Entry #4: Mug Cakes are ingenious.
Recently, I have been craving sweets a lot more than usual, for instance, after eating lunch today I was really craving a chocolate cake. Sadly I don't have chocolate cake at home, in fact, I barely have anything sweet at home since my family and I have been trying to cut down on our intake of sweets. Nonetheless, the cravings for something sweet got more and more severe, each passing minute felt direr than the last and I even felt myself filling up with anger at the fact there were no sweets at home. Then, a solution presented itself to me on a silver platter, I was scrolling through videos on YouTube and found a video about a mug cake.
It was a chocolate mug cake, and although the name is not too appealing, the actual presentation was very promising:

The whole process took 15 minutes, and the result was worth every second. The richness of the mug cake was comparable to an actual chocolate cake, the sweetness satisfied my sweet tooth to perfection, and it was everything I was hoping for and more. Even though mine did not come out as appealing as the initial image:
it was still a delightful treat. After eating this mug cake I was in such shock that I could make something so simple and so easy and it somehow actually tasted good.
This particular event made me realize that if you really want something, even if it's just food, you can always find a simple way to satisfy yourself. Despite the mug cake not looking too beautiful or being too extravagant, it fulfilled its purpose and I am grateful for it.
